1971 Datsun 1600 4 Door Sedan
Engine upgraded to a Nissan L20B 2ltr engine with racing cam, large ported and shaved head, down draught weber and genie extractors to sports exhaust, larger Datsun 260Z fuel pump. Electric Thermo Fan with temp control. Datsun 240K 5 speed manual gearbox and differential (Independent rear end). Bigger Datsun 240K Disc brakes, struts and booster. Pedders lowered sports springs all round and all front rubber bushes have been replaced with Nolathane ones. Strut bar and steering box brace. Sports clutc Nissan R30 Skyline rims with new medium profile silver walled tyres. Mazda 323 fully adjustable front seats.
This car is in awesome condition for its age, she starts everytime, and runs very well, however the paint does have some blemishes, chips and scratches but they are only minor.
There is no structural rust, but there are some minor bubbles at the bottom of the rear guards and doors, typical of this model.
It has been a fun daily driver and it will be sad to see it go, however I have too many cars and no longer have the space or time for it.
Currently has rego till August 2011.
