2005 HONDA Xr250 in CANBERRA, Australian Capital Territory for sale

For Sale is my 2005 Honda XR250. I bought the bike 2 years ago and until recently did not bother to transfer the bike into my name. I am selling the bike as I am buying a house and so could use the extra money.
Bike is in good condition, has the usual scratches and scrapes for a bike of its age that has been ridden on both road and trails.
Recently I went to transfer registration into my name but was knocked back on exhaust noise, front headlight aim, no chain guide, off-road tyres, brake light not working and the number plate light was at the wrong angle. I had all these issues addressed at Canberra Motorcycle Centre in Fyshwick. They lent me an exhaust baffle for the next inspection, adjusted my headlight aim, fitted new chain guide, fitted new (road legal, but still nobby) tyres, fitted new brake light and brake light switch, fitted new number plate light and holder and also fitted a new front brake lever as the old one had the end snapped off.
My girlfriend and I decided we would buy a house before I got the chance to go back for my reinspection and my leaner license also ran out so I can no longer justify paying for an inspection and rego on a bike I do not intend to ride. The bike will therefore be sold without rego with the original rego papers I got from the previous owner. All the bike should need to pass is an exhaust baffle as I lost my original (which was too loud anyway).
I paid $4000 on the bike and spent a further $1000 on it since then and it is now in a better condition than it was when I bought it so all I am looking for is the original $4000 purchase price. I also have a pair of Fox Riding Boots, Fox Riding Pants, Fox Riding Jersey and Six6One body armour. For $4200 you can have the bike and all the gear.
