About to be 5* hotel is looking for banquet Casual full time in CANBERRA, Australian Capital Territory

The Rydges Lakeside hotel Canberra, which is under refurbishment to become best 5* hotel in the heart of Canberra, is one of the largest and most comprehensive conference convention and event venues. Encompassing up to 12 different meeting spaces, the ballroom can accommodate up to 1200 guests, making it the ultimate venue choice.
With a busy and exciting year ahead, we're recruting passionate Banquet professionals who are focused on providing our guests with memorable experience and consistently high level of service.
To be successful in this role you will have:
- The ability to carry three plates & knowledge of service practices
- Strong attention to detail & excellent personal presentation
- A current ACT Responsible Service of Alcohol Certificate
- A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn
- Excellent time management and communication skills.
Applicants must have the ability to work a flexible roster including weekends, public holidays, AM and PM shifts. Please consider transport arrangements when applying as not all but some of our shifts require you to commence or finish outside of Public Transport times.
