TOYOTA COROLLA AE92   1989 in CANBERRA, Australian Capital Territory for sale

Hi up for sale is a 1989 Toyota Corolla AE92 model. Selling as a complete car, doesnt need much to get on road. If you have a small amount of time and some energy to direct towards a vehicle then this corolla may just suit you as it does not require much for a blue slip and rego. Originally when purchased last year it had a 4AFC engine with automatic gearbox. I've purchased a 4AFE engine and manual gearbox in a conversion package and have converted it over myself. It fires up and drives fine without any issues. Much better having an EFI and plus the 4AFE was a more reliable engine. The vehicle is unregistered, it was purchased with the intentions of blue-slipping and getting on the road as a great little daily run about for getting to and from work etc. However I have not had the time over the last month since the conversion to push it to that last stage. Currently it requires a rear muffler section (as the one fitted has a hole in it), possibly boot carpet and a rear parcel tray in order to get a blue slip completed. The interior I have kept completely original as per picture and the wiring harness is the 4AFE and so is the computer so there is no issue there. The battery is brand new as are the front brake pads and all four tyres are new, the spare wheel has at least 70% tread on it too. The car has a CD player in it and 6inch aftermarket sony speakers in the rear of it. Also with the sale comes a 3 point strut tower brace, a 24mm front sway bar and original links for an ae92 corolla and a K&N sports air panel filter (already installed). The car has 5 (five) original toyota corolla 14 inch rims that it came with. The fact that just about EVERYTHING is stock in this car, even this engine was removed from an AE92 corolla, will make it far easier to blue slip for registration, there are no illegal modifications whatsoever in this vehicle. The wiper blades are also brand new, comes with a set of spare seat belts (nothing wrong with the ones currently fitted) and also there is a rear disc brake rotor conversion as I wanted disc brakes all round (this is the complete rear assembly - arms, old rotors, calipers, lower arms, handbrake cables etc). This model has central locking and electric mirrors as well as an intact air conditioner system which requires re-gassing if you feel the need to have a 4cylinder with air con. There is surface rust present on the boot lid but very minimal, besides that there is no significant rust nor panel damage, the only other notable bodywork condition is that the gloss layer of the bonnet is starting to peel. The vehicle is located in Canberra, ACT and clearly must go before I move. I highly recommend that the buyer drives the vehicle onto a twin axle trailer for transportation.
