Combined with our expertise across temporary and permanent recruitment, flexible workforce management, outsourcing and unbundled services, we are a holistic HR solutions provider of choice for many companies all across Australia.DescriptionDescription of the role The Administrative Assistant is required to undertake, but not limited to, the following duties in accordance with APS work level standards: Provide secretariat services such as ensuring meetings are properly coordinated, with agendas, papers, action items, and meeting minutes are prepared accordingly. Engage with stakeholders both internally and externally by maintaining mailing lists and leave calendars. Liaise with committee members and respond to routine enquiries. Organise travel and accommodation arrangements and acquit financial transactions. Monitor mailboxes and respond to incoming requests/enquires. Support the timely, accurate and secure distribution, storage and retrieval of pertinent papers. Manage and store electronic documentation in the Department's record keeping system. Draft responses to routine and non-routine enquiries regarding secretariat services. Perform database, filing and record management tasks in accordance with approved processes. Perform other secretariat and administrative duties, as required. ProfileSkills and experience Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise and manage a diverse range of tasks, marshal professional expertise and ensure delivery of intended results within specified time frames. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders. Highly developed written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail. Microsoft Suite proficiency. Demonstrated experience working in a similar role will be highly regarded.
