IT Incident Manager/Project Support in CANBERRA, Australian Capital Territory for sale

Be part of a pivotal organisation delivering new infrastructure roll-out affecting Australia-wide. Collaborate and engage with a variety of stakeholders to help deliver and improve outcomes for all Australians. We have a 9 month contract opportunity available for an experienced Incident Manager. As Incident Manager you will be managing and responding to serious escalations - understanding the what, why and how, whilst being able to liaise appropriately with senior management. Duties will also include but are not limited to ;- Track / follow up on open problem tickets, coordinating activities with key stakeholders Managing data fixes (identification, planning / scheduling / monitoring) both as part of BAU and release activities including reviewing data fix approach documents Track outage information Review and reconcile Post Incident Reports Process Improvement initiatives Identify and escalate issues relating to system outagesReview incident reports and facilitate weekly meetings with stakeholders To be successful in this role, you will have an IT background and be absolutely service focused, able to work under pressure and cope with change, and work to service level agreements. Being client-focused you will have strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Strong communication skills, in particular written skills are an absolute must.
