The Secure Communications Information Systems (SIX) country business unit designs, integrates and supports Command, Control, Communications, Computers, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (known as C4ISR) systems, including mission systems, support systems, systems of systems integration and SIX products. The primary customer of SIX is the Australian Department of Defence. The Joint Cross Domain eXchange (JCDX) is a mission critical Cross Domain Solution (CDS) that is employed by HQJOC to produce Situational Awareness (SA) and Intelligence (INT) products for HQJOC, deployed forces and Government agencies. The primary purpose of this position is to provide support to maintain the JCDX and adjunct systems. The successful candidate will have system administration or technical support experience with UNIX, particularly Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Solaris and/or HP/UX as well as experience with networking including a functional understanding of TCP/IP and firewalling. In addition you will possess PV or NV2 with the ability to apply for PV clearance.
